There are some folks on medium that I’ve blocked because they troll — they write nasty comments for the sake of attacking others. They don’t share differing viewpoints, they’re just cruel. You aren’t like that. I cannot imagine what would possess someone to ask you not to comment on their work. What are they afraid of? Would a painter tell another person “hey, I don’t want you to talk about my finished work”?? Please don’t be a stranger, the community will lose a lot if you fully depart.
