Why don’t more people — both public and private individuals — come out and say they don’t like the president?
A few weeks ago — or months, maybe. What is time anymore? — Nancy Pelosi deftly responded to a reporter’s question as she wrapped up a press conference regarding the House’s impeachment inquiry.
“Do you hate the President, Madam Speaker?” the reporter asked from the press gaggle.
The Speaker of the House, who had been walking away at the conclusion of her press conference, returned to the podium.
“I don’t hate anybody,” Pelosi said forcefully.
She went on to tell the reporter, who was representing the ultra-conservative Sinclair Broadcasting Group, that the reason she does not hate anyone is because she is a practicing Catholic and that, “I pray for the President all the time.”
